Privacy Policy

Plain-language draft describing how information may be handled.

Draft placeholder. This draft privacy policy is provided as a placeholder and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before public launch. It does not create any legal guarantees.

Overview

This policy describes, in plain language, how VetCaseIQ may handle information provided by users of the app and this website. Because the product is in an early pilot phase, practices may change as it develops.

Information users may provide

Users may provide contact details (such as name, email, clinic, and role) when requesting a pilot or contacting us, and case-related information when using the app.

Case information

Case information entered into the app is used to generate a structured report for veterinary review. Users are asked to enter de-identified case information whenever possible and to avoid client personal or payment details.

Pilot-phase data handling

During the pilot, data handling practices are still being developed and improved. VetCaseIQ should not be treated as configured for regulated medical-record storage unless explicitly configured and reviewed for a specific deployment.

De-identification recommendation

We recommend removing client names, contact details, addresses, and payment information before entering a case. See our data handling guidance.

How information may be used

Information may be used to operate and improve the service, respond to inquiries, administer the pilot, and generate structured reports. Case content may be processed by third-party AI providers to produce output.

Service providers

VetCaseIQ may rely on third-party service providers (for example, an AI model provider and hosting infrastructure) to operate the service. These providers process information on our behalf to deliver functionality.

Data retention

[Placeholder] Retention practices will be described here and should be finalized with legal counsel. Users with questions about retention during the pilot can contact us.

Security limitations

No system is perfectly secure. VetCaseIQ is an early-stage product and continues to improve its security posture. We do not claim HIPAA or any formal compliance certification.
